Tips to Make a DIY Rhinestone Canvas Art Kits from Bling Vogue.
I.Rhinestone Sorting
Each DIY Kit includes several colors of rhinestones: e.g. Red, Rose, Light Pink and so on. Each color comes in different size; note the numbers after the color names, which indicate the diameter in millimeters. For example, "Red 2" means a red rhinestone with a 2mm diameter. "2/3" indicates a mix of 2mm and 3mm rhinestones in one pack. Before starting, sort the rhinestones by color to quickly find the needed ones during the process.
II. Crafting Tips
1. Applying Glue: Our glue partially dries in 2-3 minutes, so it's best not to apply it over large areas at once. Beginners can start by applying glue to small sections and placing rhinestones, then adjust the amount of glue based on your pace after a few attempts.
2. Simply place the selected rhinestones in the positions indicated in the instruction 2 (on the back). For instance, "RED 3/4" on a heart suggests using 3mm and 4mm red rhinestones for the best effect.
3. Contour Lines: If the contour lines need to be bedazzled, it's recommended to bedazzle them first before filling in the color blocks. Choose rhinestones that match the line for optimal results.
4. Color Block Filling: When filling in color blocks, it's recommended to start with larger rhinestones and then the smaller ones. There's no need to stress over the exact placement of each rhinestone; the overall effect will be naturally perfect.
5. Dealing with the Corners: If there's insufficient space for a rhinestone in a corner, simply omit it—it won't impact the overall image.
6. If a rhinestone is misplaced, use the tweezer to remove and reposition it.
III. Completing Your Artwork
1. Cleaning Glue: If glue accidentally gets on areas outside the rhinestones, use an alcohol pad to GENTLY remove it, or wait for the glue to dry and then peel it off.
2. Drying: Let your artwork dry in a ventilated area for 24 hours to ensure the glue is fully dry.
3. Final Cleaning: Once the glue is completely dry, gently clean the surface of the rhinestones with an alcohol pad to remove any wax from the wax pen and residual glue, enhancing the sparkle of your piece.
